What are the legs of the wine?

Welcome to my channel Daniel. Great question and it deserves its own video answer but until then - the legs are the tears or the slow drips that you see down the sides of the wine glass after you swirl the glass. It happens when the alcohol evaporates. The legs show the viscosity of the wine or the thickness of the wine. It is related to body in that the more body, the more viscous and more legs. They used to say that the more legs a wine has, the better it is but nowadays I wouldn't say that is true - just more alcohol or sweetness. Hope that helps as a start! Thanks for the idea for a new video, too!! Cheers.
