I dont think that much changed there. But it's ok, they are quite good now (design, animations). There are other things to do that are more important. Anyway I heard planes are modeled from the inside now. The problem is still, that they don't make really sense on those little maps.

the thing is, why would you store trains etc, unless they implement a system of maintenance where vehicles need to stop for a while, or a schedule system where sometimes vehicles would need to sleep (which i think was said not to be implemented in a game due to the complexity), your vehicles are running 100% of the time, the only way to make it is via props which is already possible on TF1 (I think you need mods though but easy to do)

Don't use a lot of mods if your PC is a potato though. I've got 8GB of RAM and a decent Intel Core i5 CPU. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate aswell. Things I would really like to see: 1. The "middle" part of the industry chains should not be placed somewhere random on the map, far away from cities like in TF1. A steel mill is going to be in or near a city irl. The basic ressources like coal and iron ore can of course be randomly distributed on the map. 2. Please please please add a pre-building function where you can lay out a track for a bit, and then decide to accept it or not. This would be a huge help, because right now you have to delete a piece of track you built slightly wrong and then you have to eddit the terrain because it will stay as it is and look crap in the end. 3. I would love to see ships move more realistically. In TF1 on a narrow river you can see the ships driving on a preset grid, sometimes even clipping through land, which is pretty immersion braking. This is most prominent on the long cargo ships.

Neat! My only suggestion for the game now, if you haven't changed it already, is that the workshop mods you have are kept instead of deleted via updates. People taking their mods off the workshop has ruined many of my savegames and there isn't an easy way to remove those mods all the time. Sometimes you get the option of removing those mods from your save, but the majority of the time you don't and your stuck with restarting. I'm hoping you guys at Urban Games can fix this somehow because otherwise I absolutely love the franchise.

Some Kind of a mixed Tram/Metro would be nice like you are abled to build Metrostations and Tunnels for trams on their own tracks which you also can place seperated from the other traffic in the middle of streets and besides streets. And of course a function to select a frequency for the lines instead of regulating with signals so we can use same tracks for different lines. But that's all stuff for a later update. Although the game looks extremely good so far and I'm fucking hyped.

Looks awesome, I was beginning to worry :D Anyway, can you guys do something about the unsightly patches of default ground (e.g. grass) in the industrial areas and, especially, downtowns of the cities? Judging by the videos, this problem is much less of an issue in TF2, but it still appears here and there. Random, unused patches of grass next to a couple of skyscrappers breaks immersion greatly.

It would be really interesting if also the cargo could take “private car” mode, just like people do in the game, instead of just crawling from place to place. Then the player would have to compete against private truck traffic with trains (or maybe with a better quality truck service, too). With e.g. coal and ore it should be easier, but with fast cargo more difficult. That would also make it more realistic so that every city would always receive must-have goods, e.g. fuel.

what I regret the most in the game is the lack of industries to produce vehicles, such as cars, trucks and of of course boat/train and plane. imagine you will start with not much than wood and steel to build your first cart pulled by horses, later developing into more complex automotive and train industries. Producing a boat will require enormous amount of steel and technologies. same for producing rails and trains. the only game that does that today is WORKER and RESOURCE but it lacks the polish of TF... so please work on a DLC to add that to the game.
