In my neck of the woods, when we catch big hogs like this, we halter them and ride them bareback around the ranch. My 85-year-old grandpa absolutely loves riding these hogs. Of course, with his arthritis, his hand strength is somewhat diminished.

A big boar like that is hardly worth taking home unless it's going to be all sausage. Even domestic boars are not processed the same as other hogs. They have a musky odor and odd taste you can't hardly get rid of. Even sows are not nearly as good as a younger pig.

Yawt you're back and you have been missed! It's just not right coming on here and not finding the Yawt man. That is a huge hog. I'm going to try and support because I believe in what you do. I'm disabled and on a fixed income so times is tight but I will try to fit you in there somewhere soon as I can. You ever watch Capt Buster on the BRO channel.? Well he's 74 and he still loads deer. He puts a piece of plywood in the back of his truck and makes a ramp then gets up in the bed and drags the buck up in there. You might could try that when you don't have a trailer with you. It works. Anyway just a suggestion. Hope you and the family are doing great. God bless and as always Jesus loves you too! I say he's around 280 to 290. He is a good ole biggun.

Welcome back! I’m was guessing he’d go about 219 pounds. It’s good you got him out of the population. David, I think people might find it helpful to hear what areas, or counties you’re trapping these hogs in, without invading anyone’s privacy. I wonder if there might be less whining from groups like PETA, if more people realize how much of a problem these hogs are causing. I definitely wouldn’t want this bad boy in my yard. Note: I did hear you say later on in the video you were near the Noxubee County wildlife Refugewant to tell you also, how much I appreciate seeing your videos, and love your personality, your antics, and your faith.
