Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzitem.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

Lauren, you may want to invest in a small crockpot for painted hardware. You put the hardware in the water (some add vinegar too) and “cook” it overnight. The paint gets waterlogged and usually comes off easily.

Question from an inexperienced cook and a newbie flipper, isn't it dangerous to leave smth on the stove while you sleep? My parents told me to never even leave the room when smth's on the stove
@barbaramobley8845
2 жыл бұрын
@@nyn647 yes that's right. But this isn't on the stove. It's a self-contained appliance also called a slow cooker. It has the crockery part on the inside and metal on the outside and cooks very slow. I've slow cooked food in mine overnight for years. The thing with leaving on the stove is that it would evaporate all the liquid and could catch fire. If you are still worried about doing this just put it in the morning and let it "cook" all day. Good luck with your crafting!

Now I have an idea for you! I noticed that you have some issues with your putty knife. Go to your local Hobby Lobby and check out the cake decorating section. Love your finished products. Also love your amazing work ethics. You will be great also at teaching your work ethics to your students. My only suggestions are invest in some good tarps to put down on your garage floor and driveway, when painting. Also if you buy a few cheap bricks, or use old paint cans (same sizes); to elevate the furniture when painting the dressers, you should be able to paint lower on the bottoms or legs of each piece. Also if you haven't tried the trick of using Walmart's plastic bags (turned inside out with painted logos on the inside), to use them to apply paint to furniture directly, or to smooth out brush strokes, before paint dries. It's a great trick for small touchups you might have missed, without dirtying up your paint brush again. Using the bags means the paint will dry even faster, than if you brush your paint on. But be sure to use cheap latex gloves when using the bags to paint with. Also suggest buying the product named "Flitz" , from Amazon. It not only cleans and polishes any metal, it is also great for buffing out any paint flaws. Should do a great job on bringing your knobs and furniture pulls back to life. Flitz comes in a paste and liquid forms. I keep both on hand. Liquid is great on detailed pieces, where paste is great on smooth and large surfaces. May seem expensive, but both last a very long time.

I sometimes forget how young you are...especially when you are in teaching mode. You are very good at going over the steps needed to flip furniture. I really need that at 52. It is so true..everything you need to know you really did learn in kindergarden. Yes it is very amplified in adulthood, but still...all the cutting, gluing, pasting, counting, writting, coloring, sharing, standing in lines, asking permission, saying thank-you and please....many of us got that good start from a teacher. Mine was Miss Tyson....I remember she had my name on a green lily pad the first day of Kindergarden. It was by a frog. I guess the green color int he video reminded me of her. She let me take it home at some point and my mother kept it for many years. It is the first memory I have of "school", well that and my BFF Kelley. We are still close friends and live near each other. You have just a very sweet You tube channel.
