It's hard to move forward. Everyone is different. I wish I could be more positive. I lost my brother at 17, I was 16. I lost the love of my life, my mom and my dad. It's been horrific for me because now I have lost everyone who really loved me. It's hard for me to know that they are gone. I have become angry and backwards. I am 63 now and on my own. I have spinal fusion in my neck and also lower back surgery leaving me with nerve damage affecting all 4 limbs. Typing this to you kills me all the way up to my ears. Life ain't easy. I am proud of you girls for trudging on. Keep on going.

We lost our oldest son in 2019 after fighting brain cancer. I have used the treatment you are taking about, and it was a HUGE benefit. I hope you have the same positive response as I did. I lost my husband in June 2023. He had dementia, fell twice, broke a hip each time, and the tapping has helped with the shock of how badly dementia really is to a person, and their spouse. Best of luck to you.

Go for it Kelly. I needed to get away from an emotionally abusive ex husband. Fortunately I was a teacher with needed skills for teaching Special Ed. I applied and got accepted and I moved overseas to Europe to teach. I learned so much stuff and I was not near him. So it went from him and his 2nd wife dumping everything on me in the cruelest way possible. With me gone, they turned on each other and their marriage went to hell in a hand basket. I had nothing to do with that, I just removed myself from their grasp. And I always wanted to teach overseas and I spent the next 16 years living a life full of adventure. Remember, “Living Well is the Best Revenge.” Why because you do not need revenge you are living your best life, and it pisses off the people who want to hurt you. Stay strong.

As a ptsd vet, I can say that this is an incredible therapy. I have used it myself with great success. I use hand buzzers as I don't like anyone's finger wagging in my face, but it works with both options (maybe more). If anyone reading this is contemplating it, please look up images of CT scans showing before and after EMDR. The best advice is to get someone with experience. This works! I am so happy for you to have found this. You can look ahead to days when this is manageable. Godspeed. and love.
