In a 5-day trip for a distance of 1300 km from the heart of the Delta to Cairo
Then to Ain Al-Sukhna, and from there we took
A coastal road that connects between Ain Sokhna to Halayeb and Shalateen
The trip has two goals, a voluntary goal, which is to deliver some aid to our people in the mountains
The second goal is to live adventure, explore and learn about new cultures
We passed the cities of Cairo, Hurghada, Safaga, Al Qusayr, Marsa Alam, Porto Ghalib and Baranes
And Shalatin
We went to mountainous regions and valleys called Wadi Hiba, Wadi Suareb and Abraq
We met with mountain people, Bedouins, and camel herders in the desert
We met with Al-Ababdeh and Al-Bashaireh, and they were all good people and people of generosity and presence
We met with the Beja tribes, which are scattered tribes and inhabit the valleys and mountains and are present in Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia
The Beja tribes have their own language that is pronounced but not written as a letter
Their language is called Dawit, or Rattan, and it is a language specific to the Beja tribes
They live in the middle of the mountains and the desert on well water
They drink cheese, which is a roasted coffee drink
