Travel by train from Retiro, Buenos Aires, to the city of Córdoba passing through Rosario.
The departure was punctual on a Monday at 9pm. from Retiro (Mitre). Some localities are shown through which it passes when leaving Buenos Aires. At 10pm. they turn off the lights. After crossing the Panamericana highway, speed up.
It stops in Campana for just 2 or 3 minutes. Around 3 in the morning it arrives at Rosario Norte where it stops for almost half an hour, they turn on the lights and change the position of the locomotive. Those who traveled on the back go to travel on the front (I got a ticket from the front and even Rosario traveled on the back).
You can see a men's bathroom inside (those for men and women are separated), which was always clean although soap was lacking. You can also see the dining room, the different cars, the area of sockets and water.
The scenery is very beautiful, the train is quiet and comfortable. The state of the tracks are not be the best because the train is slower and slower, especially in the last 300km. It caught my attention that the roads do not have protection in case an animal or person crosses.
You can also see the city of Villa María, where I went down to walk a bit and breathe, although above the train you breathe well, the temperature is regulated and is always between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Continuation. Entrance to Córdoba • TREN a CORDOBA. LLEGAD...
