Welcome to wonderful Melbourne ("Melb'n") 😊 I've been here more than 25 years and think it's the best city in Australia. Hope you're staying for at least a few days because there's so much to do! Make sure to check the weather forecast twice a day - our weather is pretty changeable.

Thank you! Haha weather changing quickly is something we are used to thankfully! Very similar to where we are from in New England

Vlog 111. That is a lot of work. They are fun to watch though, so, I subed to see the next 111. We cannot wait to see Australia for the first time in 2024. I am doing my rounds letting our friends and colleagues here know that we are one step closer to making our dream of driving around the World with a carbon-neutral footprint, and we have changed our channel name to be more marketable for our niche of travel, preservation, and culture. It is a little geeky, but we like it. I hope you enjoy your day and continue to enjoy our content as we try to improve. - Turtle

You know you didn't have to chug down all that water, there's no liquids limit on domestic flights in Australia...

Have You Done a "hook turn" yet? (Melbourne CBD thing) Understandable if you have voided doing one, even Melbournians that have been doing them their whole lives still get a little nervous when they have to

Most cafes and all restaurants will offer gluten free options.
@KJandSarah
Жыл бұрын
To the extent that they’re celiac safe? Sorry, just genuinely curious! Different countries obviously have different regulations about what is “gluten free” so some places will say “GF” but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s prepared separately to avoid cross contact, etc.
@kayelle8005
Жыл бұрын
@@KJandSarah my experience is most places will ask whether you are celiac or gluten intolerant and advise accordingly. Some places like the French Vietnamese restaurant in Flemington are entirely gluten free for celiacs, others like the vegan bakery in Ascot Vale have separate areas and utensils for their vegan and gluten free options, some places will say we cook our chips in oil that might have traces of gluten batter so you can let them know if that level ok if trace is too much. I’ve never had anyone be unhelpful or rude about it. Just varies from place to place whether you have multiple options or none. Also some places won’t put it in the menu with the little symbol but will accommodate our point out which dishes are fine. Hazel in the CBD is a very nice restaurant. It does it that way.
