Y'all what is my opening? lol Forgot to crop that out!
We took our Twins to Hilton Head for our our annual July 4th vacation. Its a 6 hour dive and we decided to drive most of the way during nap time. Here our some of my tips for traveling with twins.
1. Drive during the bulk of sleep time. We find that driving when they sleep is super helpful and makes for less stops. We left at 4:30, stopped and ate at 6, and they fell asleep around 7:30
2. we set up an I pad for savannah who fell asleep before it was even over.
3. Pack toys and snacks to go on top of or close to the babies. ( we packed some snacks and toys right behind the drivers seat.)
4. Stop, eat and change around bedtime- if you're traveling around bedtime, we stopped, let the girls eat, play and then put them in PJs for bed time. they fell asleep pretty soon after.
Now I'm not an expert traveler with toddlers so if you have any tips I'd love them!
Hilton Head- I didn't take to much video at Hilton Head because I wanted to be in the moment. Also Hilton Head didn't do fire works this year which was really sad. But other than that we enjoyed out beach vacation and loved spending time with family!
