4:10 I wish I knew the story of the three people buried in that grave. The first woman died at the age of only 24 years, then the man died at the age of 39, and the second woman died at the age of 72. Based on the dates it can't be parents and their daughter, and based on the patronymics the man cannot have been the brother of the two women, who do seem to have been sisters. Is it a husband and his two wives - the first wife died very young, he married her sister, who then outlived him? Or was he their brother from a different father? But he's born between them. There are the makings of a novel in there somewhere. (I love graveyards and trying to imagine the people buried there.)

Yes, very observant! You are correct in thinking they are sisters, and I too was curious about the situation of the man in the tomb. You are likely correct thinking he was a husband to one of them... and then maybe the sister was buried in the same plot later in life to save money. It's really fascinating walking around these old churches and seeing all the history and thinking about how these people lived their lives in such a harsh climate.

In a way it sounds like, if you had enough time, you'd still get around better on horseback.

Indeed, I reckon some of the areas that I've been to in this video and in the past would be much more easily accessible on horse back. Hard for them to get stuck in the sand and mud :D

Great video. A question about the headlamp., How long does a full charge last at full brightness?
@VividIceland
9 ай бұрын
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! About the headlamp: At full brightness they say it can last 2 hours and 30 minutes with constant use, but that of course depends on the weather conditions (hot/cold temperatures) and age of the battery. After about a years use on my Elf C2, I find that I don't use it on max brightness for very long periods and tend to stick to mid-brightness. The battery still lasts for ages and I probably charge it once a month or so. If you have any further questions I'm more than happy to help :)
