Well guys, this was a nice treat for me: Travelling with Aer Lingus in their A330-300 Aerspace 'Throne Seat' (Dublin to London), Aerspace being their business class product.
Seat 3K is one of only two seats on these aircraft that have space both sides for storage and surface space, hence the name ‘throne seat’. It really does feel as if you’re the most important person on the aircraft when you sit in these seats! The flight itself was only 50 minutes long but whilst Aer Lingus operate these wide bodies on the DUB - LHR route, it would be a shame not to take the opportunity. Especially if (like me) you’ve never sat in a proper lie-flat seat before.
Was it worth the money? Let me know what you think in the comments below. I reckon it’s a great ‘taster’ for what to expect in their business class long-haul. Certainly in respect of the A330 seat in any case.
I hope you enjoy the video and, as always guys, thanks for watching!
Cheers for now!
Mark
