My lifelong dream: to give concerts in extraordinary places! Limitations inspire imagination: A booked cruise canceled on short notice, the money saved invested in a piano transporter, a bundle of sheet music in my luggage - let's go! Fourth stop: it’s February 2022. Following in Mozart's footsteps, I reach Dresden. The view from the right bank of the Elbe to the baroque splendor of the other side is overwhelming. For the interpretation of the Adagio from Mozart's Concerto in A major KV 488, I choose the crypt of the Frauenkirche, a simple place of silence and prayer. What a great contrast to the tourist hustle and bustle in the old town! This setting leads to a very personal and somewhat ambivalent view of the city, intensified by Mozart's expressive music.
