Good video, good advice about pulling the shocks down so the bladder fit snug.

We just tested out the new setup, 100W worked great on the Maxx. Thank you for watching

Hi, shocks are the same but pistons are different, don't mix them up. 1.3 mm hole on the front, 1.2 mm hole on the rear. Also springs are different. Thank you for video.

I saw traxxas has 4 different spring rates available now. Have you tried them yet? I saw the green stripe is the stiffest part number 8959

We’ve never had a problem with our MAXX shock springs so we’ve never changed them. However if you are doing some serious bashing, I would definitely look into stiffer springs.

@redbanditracing thanks for replying back. I've seen some people using the sledge rear shocks. What do you think about that?

It will level out the MAXX but it will also change the handling a lot.

@redbanditracing that's what I figured. Higher center of gravity is gonna make it roll over easier. I've played with the rear stock shock oil, and I keep coming back to 60w. It's just more balanced for my driving style

Hello I know that this video is old but I need help and can’t find it I do a lot of what you guys do with your rustler 4x4 what weight shock oil do y’all use??

I like to use 50W, and this is with the GTR shocks. If you’re using the Ultra Shocks I’d go higher cause those don’t offer a lot.
