Just wanted to say bro... Water doesn't really rust your truck if you spray it with wd40 or a silicone lubricant within a day or so of driving it. Salt water is a big no no but regular water is fine. You just can't let it sit up for days afterwards. Love your truck man, they're not cheap lol

If you see the cleaning video hours after running the ra it was blown out cleaned and sprayed down with my insta shine to stop any plastic from turning white then the front was taken apart the next day 18 hours later with a bearing issue? As it wasn’t rolling smooth I replaced the front bulkhead and waited on the rear to show up

@@earlmoorhead5555 I don't have any experience with Traxxas and their plastic so you got me there but I can say that my truck runs better with the aftermarket bearings that you can purchase from Amazon or wherever. The ones that come from the factory aren't too durable.

I find comfort knowing I'm not the only adult spends hours of reconditioning saving bearings ect for a fraction of the time bashing , after spending 1000 bucks even beloved Traxxas, after about same run time I've seized bearing stripped diff and wheel older wheel though . Exb Mojave, I didn't use anything on inside of the body and that's pretty beat already too . Funny thing is I bought thinking I'd do the speed running with you and I could keep it nice condition. Being I have boat loads of arrma parts and I'd move on too kits or even Traxxas, I like the convince of the Maxx . I usually don't go all out with the water snow rain till the rc beat up or close to rebuilding, last time I burnt up rtr esc , I think if going use rc in water the Maxx and granite are way to go , the Maxx really keeps electronics dry as possible it's well sealed and the arrma granite , the parts are cheap enough and it's very quick and easy to rebuild . I bet xxmaxx is good too bc hcg chassis . I usually like to keep my rcs new as possible, if I go get xrt today I be more willing to bash my outcast 8s and use xrt what I imagine how most people use thier rcs . I know guys that putting loads money into and never use them if they do its in the park or something . Hope u don't mind me rambling , you and kids have happy Thanksgiving 😆

If you're going to bash, then bash hard I say. We don't buy RCs to be shelf queens. If you want a shelf queen, you're in the wrong hobby. $50 or $500 or even $5000, if you race 'em, bash 'em, or run 'em, you ARE going to eventually break them. It's just a SMALL price we pay to have some fun and feel like a kid again. Hahaha. Lol Enjoy the fun, informative, and educational videos, Earl. We need more guys like you and RC Guy Garage in the Hobby to show us Newbies WHAT vehicles to buy and/or avoid and HOW to do the repairs so we're NOT paying some inflated shop-nerd price to fix our breaks and mistakes. Thanks for all you do. Bash On, Brother! 😁🤪❤👍👊🤘💥💯

I will never run my $1k plus rc through standing water on purpose. It just does so much damage. A splash here and there through a puddle I didn't see is OK, but I see people going through deep water or a lot of mud. Meh, that just destroys your bearings on your motor and usually damages the ESC Internally. That's just me though. I'll send my RC rigs pretty high and I sometimes break them up likely that.
