Man, this lives up to the promise of being called a playset. It's got traps, flippy out and flippy down things, a big nutter looming over it. Brilliant.

The proof of how good this playset is: I literally *trash-picked* this thing as a kid. Saw it in a pile on someone's curb, then lugged it home under one arm on my *bike.* It was missing all but, like, five of the most sturdily-connected accessories. And a cat had peed on it, so I had to leave it outside for five days to get rid of the smell. And it was *STILL FUCKING GREAT TO PLAY WITH.*

Listening to the reverence this fully grown man has for it is evidence that children will make the best out of any toy you give them, even when it's not very great lol. One of my favorite figures was the inner core of a pretender, so I can't talk.

On the topic of Cybertron, it's such a great toyline that it makes every Transformers toyline after look bad just by comparison. Sure, maybe Galaxy upgrade prime is cool, but he doesn't have the presence of the original. I had the fortune to get my holy grail, Primus, loose for 5 € from a flea market, and I love that big guy.

Never had this a child and it never interested me my version though was the Robo Force Mountain Fortess of steele that I picked up from a jumble sale in my local community center which is still an amazing playset if you have never checked one out.

God, this makes me think about how I wish there were a Tomb of Horrors playset like this. Like, with bits like the two fake entrances, the fake Acerak and the real one (The latter presumably having a light-up feature), the Juggernaut, the various nasty archways...

You make me wonder, if a toy collector travelled to the past, would the collector would somehow buy the toys (no idea how to get the cash if don't want to raise suspecion for using present day money) in bulk and become a millionair in the present due to selling the said past toys in "misc/ misb"?

@@TRDQ Ture but you also doing "good" to other collectors or those whose really want the vintage toys in mint/ non preowned condition. Also I suppose if you want cash to buy stuff in the 80'sm bring gold or non modern jewelry and exchange it for cash in the past.
