I've had my eye on the TEG-S762 but it's more of a sidegrade compared to the Qnap QSW-2104-2S that I have. I like the rj45 uplinks but those switches tend to go out of stock quite frequently. I just ordered the TEG-3102WS from Amazon for $229.99 which effectively gives me an extra 4 ports plus some management capability. I didn't really need managed where it's being used but honestly it's hard to find what I want without spending a ton. I also have the TPE-TG327 and reminds me of back in the early days of gigabit switches that had 1gb uplink but with 100mb ports. I'm starting to add 2.5gb devices onto the network but currently none are poe so this switch works just fine with the ones I currently have which is an AP and another switch. That TPE-TG380 looks really nice, if I ever need poe w/ 2.5gb that's definitely an option for me and should've opted for that one instead but the other did cost a whole lot less.

I just purchased the S750 March 2nd from Amazon and started having issues with my desktop dropping connection... at first I thought it was the Intel i226-v which are plagued with connection issues that goes back even a few yrs now. I started reading reviews and others are having the same problems, evidently Amazon was selling ver. 1.0R at discounted rates and Trendnet has since released ver. 2.0R. I am hoping that Trendnet will upgrade it to the newer version. I'm also using the TEG-S591 and for now I've swapped the cable over but need to put the Qnap back in so I can take the S750 out. Wanted to update the earlier comment, I believe it was just the ethernet cable and the motherboard wasn't making a good connection and in turn making the switch flake out. The cable tested good with my tester but I started having issues with a USB adapter and also swapped in the Qnap so the ethernet cable is the only common denominator that stayed constant. I have been using another cable and it's been rock solid ever since.

Cool! I'm in Daytona FL area where Metronet has come in fiber. I'm doing 2gbps at $80/mo. Got the new Flint2 2gbps (wan and 2.5gb lan port) router for $159. Still looking at 2.5g switches.

Im looking into the TP TEG-762 because I have 8gig fiber and a home nas. The 762 in the description says 60gig tital output, which would mean even the 2.5gb ports are capable of 10 gig traffic. If this is true, it's price at its price

I have not seen that system. So far I only have experience with Orbi (NETGEAR) and TRENDnet mesh systems. Both of those work well...
