Trey and Matt admitted they were tripping balls on LSD during the Oscars. Ironically, before the ceremony Trey told a reporter, "I know we're not gonna win, I just hope we don't lose to Phil Collins, because that'll be fucking embarrassing".

To say it's okay for men to wear dresses if they're trans but not if they're straight, is not very woke? Let people be who they are. Although often used to mean 'drunk', the term "wasted' isn't exclusive to alcohol, just as "loaded" isn't exclusive to drugs. It can be used interchangeably and I think Matt was simply saying "wasted" here so as to tone down the magnitude of their lack of sobriety at the event, seeing as this was broadcast on TV on a major network which would have strongly disallowed them promoting their drug use.
