I’ve been watching these videos so long now that I feel this connection to these wonderful people. The graciousness and humility over something the rest of us most assuredly take for granted makes me want to be a better person and appreciate everything that life has to offer. For the people wondering no there is no pork in this. Pakistani fast food chains do not have pork. Instead they would substitute another meat. It’s all dependent on what brand or type of dog you get and how you cook it. A nicely grilled dog with good toppings in a toasted bun is near perfection. They lack the context of how these foods are eaten, and why. But also they’re stuck judging an entire category of food based off of a single representative. Too bad they couldn’t sample 4 or 5 high quality examples of hotdogs with their choice of toppings.

Usually something like Dahl, roti, rice, occasionally chicken cooked in spices. In the villages it’s a lot of sauces and breads - I lived on that stuff when I traveled there!

Now Gul Sher really knows how to bite down on one of these things. He even eats like a Kachatri warrior. Look at that gulp. Gul Sher was also the only one to realize that this type of simple hot dog is not a meal - it's good as a snack or "at a party" (or sporting event 'implied'). And he actually seemed to like the taste of the "meat rope" as he put it. I love these guys.

Assalamu Alaikum, I tend to agree with our dear friends. Methods of cooking as well as the blends of spices added in the making of the hot dog sausage make a difference in how they taste. I prefer a hot dog made with bolder spices and prepared by grilling over charcoal embers. The condiments include chunky sweet pickle relish, ground horse radish, course mustard, tomato ketchup made without added sugars. Love sauted onions as well!! The bread should be made of potato flour and should be opened up and toasted on the charcoal grill. Another favorite is chili dog. Grill hotdog and bread as above. Top with spicy beef chili con carne, shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese and finely chopped onion. Yummie!!!! All halal ingredients mashallah.

To be fair this is a pretty pitiful example of a hotdog. I mean what kind of bun is that? Give them a proper ballpark or Chicago dog and I think they would have reacted differently.
@bearbenton5945

Listen, I agree to the fullest extent. Slap some onions, green pepper, maybe a bit of hot sauce (Tapatio), and THAT's a good dog. Chicago dogs are great too. Honestly, any sausage served with some fresh veggies cooked or plain makes them so much better.
