My older bro loved Limp Bizkit. If you’re intrigued by the rock/metal/rap combination, I highly recommend Linkin Park! They’re classified as “Nu-metal.” Their first two albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora are basically no-skip albums. They also did a joint album with Jay-Z called “Collision Course” which is Linkin Park’s and Jay-Z’s hits mashed up. They did a live concert as well of these mashups, it’s here on youtube!

You definitely have to listen to "N 2 Gether Now" featuring Method Man (the remastered funky version of this is cool, but the DJ Premier beat that was the initial release of this song and originally on the Significant Other album is 🔥, and the best version IMO) . There is also The Neptunes Remix with Pharrell version of the song. It's a banger and I think you'll like it, especially the DJ Premier production.

Nu-Metal is truly timeless because of the hip-hop and metal influences to it. There is nothing that will change. The years of rock in the early 80's into the mid 90's smashed head on into the massive love for new age hip hop that everyone loved with the very catchy. Its a honest test of time. It hurts to still know Limp Bizkit is one of the most hated/loved of the generation. Personally born in 92'. They were the first band I truly listened to EVERY day. Fred Durst is a legend. Wes Borland (Guitarist), Sam Rivers(Bassist) John Otto(Drumer) and DJ Leathal are the true OGs next to KoRn, Orgy, and a few others were the best bands of the late 90's into the mid 2000's.

The music video for the song rollin' was shot on top of the WTC as well. During an interview with MTV back in 2001, Fred Durst was asked about the fact that the video for Rollin’ was shot on top of the WTC. Fred Durst had the following to say: MTV: Your video for "Rollin'" was shot on top of the World Trade Center towers. Durst: We received a letter the day before the attack from the World Trade Center thanking us for letting them be a part of a video that just won an award [the 2001 VMA for Best Rock Video]. I had it framed. I found it very ironic, very bizarre that I received that letter on Monday, and Tuesday the [attacks occurred]. For me to have gotten to go to the top of such a great, powerful structure ... to have those people embrace me and let Limp Bizkit spend 22 hours on top of the World Trade Center doing what we do. ... And for it to be taken down? The structure itself means nothing to me. I don't believe in that structure being a symbol of power, of pride, of America. What means something to me is the people that were killed around and in that building innocently, for no reason except hatred. It overwhelms me. I thank God the night we were on the World Trade Center wasn't the night they decided to do that.
