This song brings a tear to my eye. Brad is most definitely a legend. His voice and how full of life he was. I was definitely happy when I watched this, mainly because you are absolutely amazing at covering his songs. Thank You for not thinking you were good, but knew you were good enough to post these videos. Sublime lives on in all of us. R.I.P. Brad J. Nowell

if I didn't say it before, you definitely should be the one heading up the tribute section of Sublime bro, because more than just being able to emulate Brad's vocal sound, you have a good voice man, that is evident. so keep it up. and you should get your band together and start playing shows. you will definitely show some other people up out there. Don't think they didn't notice you already, because you can bet they did, so did brads wife. peace young blood.

people talk to me like i just said "hey i think i'll do sublime on youtube" and then learned it really fast by some method, but i've known how to play sublime for years and actually the song Mary by brad is the reason i started playing acoustic guitar, and i've had plenty of time to refine any mistakes i've made in the songs in the past, i mean it comes from years of listening to sublime and looking up tabs

Brad started doing heroine after they wrote 40 oz to freedom it was originaly an "experiment" because he thought it would make his music more created because at the time they did not have any songs on the radio. But after Date Rape was on the radio he was hooked.

this is an opportunity to say something about myself i've always thought, and this is gonna sound stupid, singing brad is so natural to me its pretty much like my real singing, if i wrote my own songs i'd have trouble not sounding that way, its not so much like imitating, its just i identify with his passion so much becuz i think we're a lot alike in a way, i started doing it in about 1999 and i just always knew there was something about me and him that i cant put my finger on
