I love all these tricks they do. This was something that wasn't in The Last Airbender, and it was a real nice touch. Coincides with how the martial arts style changed too.

These scenes are actually the primary reason why I watched the series..the hell I care about the love team ups "Makorra" and shit. Tricking and Main storyline, that's it.

Huh, interesting. It shows pretty well how most of what goes on in the fights in korra is pretty well planned, and what the martial arts styles of the four nations have become when merged in the United Republic. Pretty cool.

Start small and work your way up. Start by training your core: calisthenics, yoga, Tai Chi, balance, breathing katas. Then, once you have a better connection with and sense of what your body is capable of - and once your body has been trained to subconsciously make micro-adjustments - you can start learning the basics of tumbling, free-running, gymnastics, and parkour. Eventually, you'll be just as agile as the greats - not as fantastical as a lot of this stuff, mind you lol

My point is its not something you are going to kill someone with, which matches the change from a warlike style meant for killing and war to something which is much less so (a sport really).
@hanburgundy4317

Tai Chi is hardly a deadly martial art, either lol Sifu Kisu chose the forms he did for stylized, fantastical action sequences; incorporating mixed martial arts and tricking made the fight scenes so much more vibrant, dynamic, athletic, and fast-paced.

Well, everything in this video is tricking, which is almost entirely unrelated two the traditional martial arts styles of the four nations. But it's also somewhat appropriate given the overall evolution of the Avatar world.

@joseph8275

Benyamin Lorit The disc seems to be directly above him and kicking leg at a 90 degree angle so it definately looks like a swipe, but it does kinda look like a cheat takeoff so I would say sideswipe

He didn't do a c540 cause there was no cheat step, so even if it wasn't a swipe it would still be a pop "something"

I saw your season 3 one already, it was great, nice music choice too. Maybe season 2 didn't have as much acrobatics because they changed animation companies for half of it.
