I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great kzitem.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.

This is honestly one of those inventions that is revolutionary for a mobile business, wood flooring, laminate etc.. you normally need two sets of cheap plastic sawhorses, one set for table saw along with a piece of plywood, and another set for chop saw, none of which even comes close to the function of this system. This keeps everything right at hand without having to take up a lot of space at a job site you don't always have, so for the people who see these sawhorses as another gimmick or question the need or use of this system, let me simply say that you have absolutely no understanding whatsoever of a working job site where you need to use multiple tools for one process. This may seem like just another guys pipe dream of a useless design to a few people, but for someone who does specific carpentry from one job site to another and makes a living doing it, I cannot say enough about this design! It is a time and space saver in the truck and on the job, it's definitely deserving of any type of recognition it's gotten or will get in the future.

I believe the 4' long Tri-Horse is as stable most 4-legged saw horses. The 8' long Tri-Horse works best when the single leg end is connected to another Tri-Horse, as in the above work station configuration. I hope to have plans available by the end of October or early November at the basswood modular link in the "video description" above.

I'm not knocking it, just wondering why would you need to raise or lower your miter saw by .5 to 1 inch.

This allows you to match the height of the table saw and miter saw, if desirable or level the saw on a hillside, for work on a deck or pergola, etc.

I like Ron Paulk's design. We have discussed designs together on a forum we both belong to. Each design has pros and cons. I use mine on uneven terrain when working on pergolas, decks and things like that, where the tripod design and adjustable height comes in handy. This design also supports a variety of work table arrangements not shown in this video. More will follow. Cheers.
