It's a real shame that the Thruxton gets absolutely no love anymore other than the pre euro-5 update. Can't complain when the model dies, because it's weirdly always separate from the rest of the modern classics. I hate the current colors on the Thruxton and wish it got something that wasn't moody or matte. I think I'll be hanging onto my Diablo Red Thruxton R forever. Guess it'll die just like the Ducati SportClassic line. did.

I totally agree with you. Thruxton's cult following is connected to Triumph's legacy and should be preserved.

I bought the T120 gold line a month or so ago. I was skeptical at first until I saw it in person 😍😍 literally got my credit card out, put a down payment and ran to the bank for the certified check 🤷♂️🤷♂️ frigging love it. The green and silver is just stunning in the sunshine and the gold lines just pop out. Every time I leave it outside a coffee shop, some older guy stops to look at it. It’s a look back bike in the parking lot. So glad I’m in the position to buy it, more importantly my wife was at the dealership and she’s like get it, get it now before it’s gone. Don’t care how much it costs just get it. I said should I trade my Trophy SE she spun around and said the “Trophy ain’t going anywhere” sales guy was laughing too!!!!!

Dudes....You're two are my favorites! (Father and Son)...I'm subscribed to 20+ bike channels, but you guys are my favorite, and my 37 years old son agrees. I own a "cherry" (meaning clean) 2010 Harley Davidson Super Glide Custom. My son and I are buying two Triumphs in January 2022 when the dealers are hungry :) yea, I'm a Scumbag. My son is buying a Trident 660. And since I watch this video, now I want a StreetMaster....I was going to get a Street Twin.....I want them all. I'm texting from Northern Indiana, Lake Michigan is 6 miles north of us....I'm like the ol Man...66 years old ( not that he's that old) and have been riding 45 + years.

If you’re a fan of the Triumph Scrambler, read Forgotten Road by Randall Arthur. The whole last half of the book highlights the Scrambler in numerous, fantastic adventures. The book is a work of fiction, but supposedly the adventures in the book are all based on Arthur’s real-life experiences. Randall Arthur is the author of the bestselling novel Wisdom Hunter. On a side note, Forgotten Road is a faith-based novel.

Saw the Scrambler XC which I am considering but was not impressed with the gold line scheme for that particular model. Looks much nicer in all black or matte green

Don't think there was a single colour scheme there that I didn't like. It is great that Triumph can be so dynamic in terms of decision making from feedback and bang this stuff out quick. Now please do something with the very dull paint schemes on the Adventure Bikes.

The Triumph classic bikes sell very well, why break something that doesn't need fixing?

@@terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuff not in Canada they don’t sell many of their classics 🤷♂️🤷♂️ there not much use for them on the highways in North America. Still looking to see what the new 1200 Tiger looks like in person before I decide if I’m skipping brands from a Triumph Trophy SE to BMW

@@colingoldthorpe5918 To be fair Triumph don’t really market the classics as big highway machines. Yes, the new Tiger should be very interesting, I have a 2018 XCa and it is an absolute Sherpa two up and fully loaded.

In Victoria, BC Canada the full line of Modern Classics does well, T100/T120, Speedmaster through the Street and Speed Twins, Scramblers etc.
