This Friday, something completely different.
A quick showcase of a friends Triumph hardtail, at Davidstow airfield, shot with the dji mavic mini. A short trip to find Statton stone circle, where we found some stunning scenery, and again the drone came out of the bag. Followed by my reaction to riding the bike. I got a little excited so I'm afraid I was talking nonsense most of the time.
I found it quite hard to ride, but mainly due to the bumpy road surface. Whenever I hit a bump whilst accelerating, I was sliding back on the seat. And because of the riding position, you can't support yourself with your feet or knees. You just have your hands to hang on with.
I owned a TL1000 for several years, so I know how much respect some bikes need to be given. But this is on another level.
I'm sure there will be many disputes over whether it is a chopper or a bobber, but to me it really isn't important. It's gorgeous and sounds out of this world.
I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to both film, and ride this work of art. It was quite unforgettable.
I'm afraid I don't know any details about the bike, but if there is anything you wish to know, I may be able to find out from the owner and get back to you.
