I couldn't agree more with them being OUR Band. I saw them twice in Halifax, N.S. They'll get their earned spot in the R&R Hall of Fame. The reason they take so long to appoint Artist's and Band's is because it's run by a bunch of POT-HEADS.

Wow, brings back so many memories of rockin' with these guys! Their live shows were always so powerful, whether they played in some local bar or a jammed packed arena. I always wondered why Rik turned down Tom Scholz's offer to replace Brad Delp after he passed? Everyone know that Brad is irreplaceable, PERIOD! Now with that said, who else thinks Rik would have been an great fit with Boston? Personally, I truly believe that Tom & Rik would have made some incredible music!

For anyone who is wondering, the bit that Rik plays at 26:30 is the classical music "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies", Peer Gynt. He used to do it all the time,...... brilliant.
@kalypso36b

I hope you won't mind if I correct you, @Matt McCormick. That melody is "The Hall of the Mountain King" from the Peer Gynt Suite, composed by Edvard Grieg. ("Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies is part of the Nutcracker Suite, composed by Peter Tchaikovsky.) The late great Canadian jazz flutist, Moe Koffman, did an amazing version of it on his album Master Session, which he titled "Cavern of the Mountain Trolls".
