I still love my flannel, have since '83. Even the quilted outers from the winter collection that really makes the whole ensemble of jeans, boots and a tee shirt over thermals work. It's the blue collar uniform and is timeless!!

I just listened to "Hear" after all of this time and man, Peter Loran's voice was so powerful! I've been listening to them on repeat the past few days. I'll never forget having my dad drive me two states away to see them and meet them. Gonna have to go through all of their videos now to bring me back to better days. Surrender, Only Young Once, Nobody's a Hero, As the Candle Burns, Waiting in that Line, and who could forget Runaway Train. I'd love to see these guys perform again.

Yeah, Grunge knocked out 80s music, but Grunge just plain died all by itself. Good music, but you cannot deny bands like Trixter. They sold a lot of records to SOMEBODY!! I still see Steve Brown playing today, the grunge movement just went away quietly. It had it's place and you can't even compare the two. 80s music went well into the 90s regardless of popularity. We are STILL here.

Trixter is one of those hybrid bands that was right in the middle of the shift change between 80's metal and Grunge. They didn't seem to fit in one category or another. The timing never seemed right for them, but I've always enjoyed their music.
