Great Video & Seth Green has a wonderful and interesting history around the Finger Lakes and the Country , much of it can be found on the internet . Seth went to heroic efforts to bring Live Steelhead Trout from the West Coast to the Finger Lakes in the 1800's ....think about that for a minute .

Haven’t used one of these in 20 years. Thanks for the extra motivation to get it out. I spent a lot of time chasing Lakers at the south end of Canandaigua there, but over the past year or so I spend more time in the south end of Keuka.

Peter Collin better numbers than Canandaigua but most are the same size, right around 4 pounds. Up until mid summer this year I’d catch my limit plus every time, anytime of day. Things slowed down this summer though and it hasn’t seemed to pick up again this fall. Last fall I trolled up until mid November and made out like a bandit.

Informative video! Do you know what the "clippy things" are technically called or where they can be found online? Thanks, Mike

Please explain the construction of and use of the ball bearing section in the line.

They're not really ball bearings. Just a bead chain. Gives the clips something to grab onto, that can easily pass through the guides.
