Fantastic video. I loved the editing and the videography paired with the music/sounds. Only misleading thing is that you have footage from another church in the cathedral-portion of the video. The interior you showed here belongs to the smaller Vår Frue church which is closer to the city square. A very nice church on its own, but a completely different building in many ways. I urge your viewers to find photos or videos of the interior of Nidaros Cathedral, its very impressive and though different, has the same impact on you as many of its more well-known counterparts in Europe.

I’ve been to Trondheim twice, because I have friends from there. I enjoyed going there mid May because of Constitution Day. People wear the traditional, regional dress. It’s very beautiful. The weather is changeable, but nice for spring in Europe. Some restaurants could be closed due to the holiday period, but I’ve enjoyed that time of year. The bike lift is a bit difficult for some people. I saw more people ride up, without using it, or walking up with their bikes. It’s a coordination thing.

That’s awesome! I really enjoyed my stay in Trondheim too. It might be one of the more underrated places in Norway and it’s definitely worth a visit 👍😊🌺

@@januslog geographically, it reminds me of Berkeley, California. It’s so relaxed, but the energy of Scandinavian countries in the spring is so special. They don’t take the sun and warmer weather for granted, unlike the people from coastal California, like me. I think the culture really shows itself nicely at that time.

Hello I really liked your videos, thank you very much for these beautiful montages, I want to ask you a few questions if you allow me: according to your videos you took this trip by car, did you use campsites or wild camping? Is it possible to get an idea: how much did this trip to Norway cost you? And thank you very much

Hi and thank you! I used a combination of campsites and AirBnB. I did not go for luxury but did also not opt for the cheapest places either. Having said that, my trip to Norway was amongst the most expensive trips I’ve taken so far, only comparable to Switzerland. Depending on where you stay and the time of the year, I’d say you have to calculate with at least about $150/day on average for accommodation. Lofoten will cost you way more than that, while some less-known sites in the middle of nowhere will be a bit less expensive.

I feel like you put the interios of "Vår frue" into the Cathedral? or did I miss something?

Thanks for watching! I was not in the Var frue church so can’t say what the interior there looks like.
