“JULIAN” FURTHER INTENSIFIES OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA EAST OF CAGAYAN.
Location of Center (10:00 AM): The center of Severe Tropical Storm JULIAN was estimated based on all available data at 290 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan or 300 km East of Calayan, Cagayan (18.6°N, 124.3°E)
Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and central pressure of 985 hPa
Present Movement: West northwestward slowly
Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong to storm-force winds extend outwards up to 450 km from the center
