Thanks again Rick! I placed the next victim on the bench today. A Motorola 5P33W. I also started reading your E-book. Mistakes. Everyone makes 'em. How you recover from them is what matters the most. 👍

Thank you again for this reminder that as good as we think we are sometimes😏 simple mistakes still happen. I also enjoy your videos because they are so easy to listen too. Your not time compressing the crap out of them. So frustrating thst “normal” speed is so annoying to listen to. Your work wisdom and videos are all so informative and do enjoyable!! Thank you!!!

Love the 5019 series. I'm in the middle of a 1948 Popular Science project, it adds a FIFTH tube, an untuned rf stage, the whole shebang fits in a project box and plugs in via an octal socket.

That project sounds very interesting. I hope you make a video on it. This is realy weird, Just now this comment showed up 2 weeks ago, and three others, 9 months ago. 1 year ago, and 2 years ago (edited). I do not know why. #1

I liked the detailed use of the schematic and your explanation of your trouble shooting. Very helpful to me. As for the executive...I had to deal with his kind...an insecure primadonna.

An old crossbar guy? They still used crossbar and step by step here in upstate South Carolina when I got into the switchroom but had already started transitioning to digital (Western Electric #5ess and Nortel DMS 100/200. I was a Nortel guy. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks for your story.

Thank you. When I was new to the crossbar I got a call from the Bell connecting office in the next town. They wonted to test a special circuit. I got setup and counted over the jacks and plugged in. The wrong circuit went down. I hear this from the other end, “Don’t worry about it, you was only one jack off.”
