Exactly! I am sitting and catching every question and answer, keeping saying WOW every 2 minutes.. Such an intelligent and informative talk, the real intellectual feast for my soul. ... I came here for Troye, but I would like also to give credit to the Interviewer. .... AND look at the audience questions! They are all so weighty... Wow...

the "oh my god, you're gay" thing is relatable. it was like i was intrigued and interested in that quality but also kind of awestruck, in a way? i don't know how to describe it. i would just be really interested. generally it was a celebrity, so it felt like kind of intangible but also real bc i felt a connection deep inside. idk.

When he asked if the song meanings changed Troye looked so uncomfortable. I know he was thinking of "for him." and how he now applies it to someone new and he still has flashbacks of Connor.

I feel like other gay artists such as Patrick Wolf have fallen by the wayside just because their gayness isn't the main focus of their art.
@cristinawill9231

... And that makes Troye not deserving of what he has now? Fans' fault for supporting Troye instead? I don't understand what your comment got to do with Troye. What even is gayness as main focus of their art? 😂. I don't know why other gay artists arent as famous as Troye, just like I dont know why other straight artists arent as famous as other straight artists. Troye simply writes songs about himself, and he just happens to be gay so of course his songs will include his experiences as a young gay man. Have you even listened to his albums to say that "his gayness is the main focus" of his art? Lol. So, Troye unapologetically writing and singing songs about himself is the reason he is famous? Aren't most artists writing personal songs as well? What, you want Troye to restrain himself and use gender-neutral pronouns or wear "manly" clothes? (while the some of the LGBTQ community is criticizing him for not being gay enough, the irony, lol) Write songs about, idk, global warming instead? Even the media is baffled why Troye Sivan is famous, that's why they're hyping up Troye as being gay pop icon despite Troye's repeated denial of that title. People forget that he is a famous youtuber who made dumbass but hilarious content that fans find adorable and relateable before his pop music career started, and he carried a lot of his fans to his new career. ... and again what even is "gayness as main focus of his art"? 😂
