I felt so sorry for these people because of the life they lived. All these people came from respected and good families, how could they turn out to be killers, every parent should pray for Allah to guide their offsprings along the right path. No parent will wish to have a child who turns out to be a monster. They committed all these crimes and yet still you can see the level of poverty they live in, the amount of shame they brought upon their families. I am pretty sure that their families are not even aware of shit that their beloved sons were involved in. I truly felt sorry for them and the families of the victims.

Thank you @ mr jaiteh , i have agreed with you on some points of your analysis but lol i disagreed with one, deliberately killing a human being can never be justified by anyone under the sun, human life is precious and should not be deliberately taken by any mortal being. it was a choice that they have willingly chosen to do for a living and were not at all expecting a day like this . if it were not their willful choice they could have resign and look for another job or go out of the Gambia like what some other soldiers did and ask for asylum somewhere else and even expose the brutal system which was happening but instead they have chosen to stay, kill, torture ,rape, butchered their fellow citizens for no genuine reasons.

Hello Guys, let’s be honest for a second. We all know what been happening in this beautiful country of 🇬🇲 Gambia, even though im Senegalese, still have half of my family are Gambian...if these Guys never wanted to cooperate with the so-called President Yaya Jammeh, their lives would be taken easily while the conscious Gambian would never go for march on the streets.... Moreover,As I read the comments,I realized all these killers come from Very good family and some have a very particular personality in their suburbs..that would result:they were obligated to commit these crimes against humanity...Don’t get me wrong;I’m not saying no penalty. But they are not the REAL TARGET!!!! LET’S AVOID REVENGE LATER ON🇬🇲 FIRST: All have been ordered by only one person:YAYA JAMMEH SECOND These killers are military and they supposed to execute any order if they make them believe is against the interest of the nation. THIRD I see Government malfunction from alll branch... And FINALLY! LETS GET THE KILLER,WE ALL KNOW WHO IS!!!!!! 🇸🇳 🇬🇲

Hi brother Bobo..I agree with your point in certain way but it’s not easy like you think in some small territory, with a military and patrol agent all over the border line....Yaya,to my understanding, was living under fear all these years..that fearness, cause the killings of all Ghanaen boys, who were trying to reach Europe.thinking they were mercenaries.... Even though, some of the militaries had the chance to get a visa in Senegal and flee...it was not easy to cross border, with too many risk behind it... That’s the case with Malick jattta, whose visa been denied. But still they could try if they really believe the life after death 💀 .... This guys have been used to the fullest .

Ameen ya'rabi , Thx for your understanding of the Situation in Gambia. And as you said, half of your Family are Gambians. Perhaps, we are even related, because I am also Gambian, but the other half of my fam are Senegalese , we are Senegambians 😀. What I object in your assessment is your being somehow very sympathetic to the Culprits 😀. The situation in which they found themselves in back then and the fact that they were "simply" following orders, as all of them abusively claim, the fact that some of those who they claim gave them those orders are dead, how brutal they have been to their Victims, how so less remorseful they are and how ignorant they are about the magnitude or severity of their filthy or dirty crimes. All of this and the amount of rudeness some of them come to the TRRC with, not mostly willing to say the Truth, making it hard for us to know the Truth. These are all factors that make it inappropriate to be lenient on most of them. Everyone can say good family, this ,that. These People are real Devils. FYI, there are a lot of brave Soldiers, who either refused to get involved and fled the Country, whilst others stayed and remained obstinate and disobedient. That's why we think that extra ordinary times, extra ordinary measures. In this case, we should let justice finally take it's course simply. If we send them to Mile 2,they should be thankful for that. Dieuredief ✌
