Hey! Two things: first, Mike Glover talked about a tactical tinder thing for couples, would love to see how you share things with your wife, and maybe have a video on how you guys see preparedness as a couple. Comms between your vehicles in case of a situation, how to make a plan for your family, etc. Secondly, if you put a GoPro on a hat, could you have both hands free for the video? Just a thought. Love the new Tundra!

I admit, I'm very unhappy with the look of the newer Tundra, but you have this looking really good!... I'm on the market for my first off road pickup truck (full size), and was nitpicking between the Silverado ZR2 or a Ram Rebel, but seeing the Tundra built up like this, definitely has my attention back on Toyota Tundra.. This is impressive!.. I think seeing it without that terrible looking stock front bumper makes 110% better looking vehicle!.. I currently own 2 Toyotas, so maybe just want to try something new

I use large heavy duty containers from Home Depot. They cost $30-40. One for shelter (tent+sleeping bags+pillows+lights, etc). One for dogs. One for me and the wife’s bags and other personal items. One for tools and dry goods. Add a cooler or fridge and good to go. Works for me and most of them can be kept loaded and ready to go at any time.

I'm a big fan of them - don't have one yet, but plan to pick one up at some point in the future. It's new to the space, so it's a bunch of early adopters right now - most of whom are wealthy, and many of whom won't really use them outside of a smooth dirt road. So I'll wait a bit to let a few others be Guinea pigs on those, since it's such a big investment.

New trucks always take a bit for the aftermarket to catch up, and the 6.5' bed is the less popular length on these - so it'll take even longer there.

Hey been a longtime viewer. Truck is looking clean! Getting close to the same setup as you for my personal daily driver. Really enjoying the tundra but I'm unfortunately bounded by my apartments garage height requirements. What's the total height when you have your RTT on? I'm assuming that is your highest point and it would be very helpful to find out! 35's seem to both look nice and have a more comfortable load rating of D sometimes? Heavily considering instead of 33-34" E ratings. In your opinion is it worth sizing up?
@LastLineOfDefense
2 жыл бұрын
It isn't on right now for me to take a measurement, but I'd guess it'd be a little under 7.5' to the top of the tent (the highest point). You could get a lower rack system, and with no roof rack, you'd be under 7'
@ABowlOfRice

@@LastLineOfDefense Thanks a lot for the reply! Pretty sure I'm at 8" clearance so fingers crossed sitting around where you're at. Going with a Bush Co tent which I believe is a tad thicker than IKamp. Hope you had a good time at expo. Cheers!
