I have been thinking about why you guys are so appealing to watch and I believe that it has something to do with the easy laughter between the two of you. Neither of you take yourselves too seriously and the lack of ego is refreshing to watch. Great story-telling again Nick with your editing- just love Elenya’s expressions when Nick is trying to explain stuff.

@elnick.adventures Actually I got that wrong, it's a branch knot. You guys did firewood, surely you can recognise the pattern. We all believed the narrative we were taught, even though we were never shown any factual proof. There is however factual proof that contradicts the accepted narrative, if you care to look for it. Anyway being laughed at doesn't bother me at all, I'd have done the same a few years back. Very much enjoy your vids.

03:35 see that uplifted rock at an angle? That's about 300M years old (if it's the East Pilbara). Fun fact - the Kimberley was once an island that 'smashed' in the WA West coat about 500M years ago. Albeit at a slow speed. The 'impact' was felt throughout the East Pilbarra, many years later after the earlier Kimberley impact, providing some uprise and tilt. I have travelled many times to the Kimberley and the East Pilbara, and it NEVER ceases to amaze me.

Well guys, a great episode as usual, we just love watching the antics in the back seat of the truck that you two are oblivious to, the kids are just in a world of their own and the pic of the three monkeys sitting on the log together was priceless. Great to see you got one back on Nick with a score of 7 for the brisket but then he gazumped you by giving himself a 5. Elenya you are the only person we have ever seen with double jointed eyes, must be to do with the full moon thing. Elenya the anxiety thing must be quite common, my wife suffers the same symptoms whenever we are close to getting home after a number of months away camping and we live a very isolated life at home anyhow, maybe it's just a woman thing.❤❤

Your intercooler and butter knife story happened to us 2 years towing our van. We went for a quick weekend trip and the only time I didn’t take my toolbox (ever) our intercooler pipe popped on our previous Colorado. The only thing I had was a butter knife. Unfortunately our story ended up on the back of a tow truck. Safe travels Mark

Very exciting! The boys do so well on those big drives. Do you get crocs in that area? I'm assuming there mustn't be if you can swim. Do you get them anywhere in that part of Aussie that you're travelling in?

07:00 Most of the water crossings in the East Kimberley and East Pilbarra have gibber bottoms rather than sand bottoms. All sand, inland if tidal waters, start out as pebbles. We've all been to Pebble Beach this and that. In time, over thousands of years, a pebble beach turns to sand - it's an assault by the ocean and a time thing.

Excellent video guys. You’re lucky you got it on a quiet day. Quite often there’s 50 people there all having a bbq….. it’s not quite as remote as you think.
