Keep dropping your videos and keep giving gems to those who want to listen. You saved some of us a lot of headache the other day with that information you gave about setting up your business and payroll properly so Uncle Sam gets paid all his money.

You only come out better W2 if the only thing your trying to maximize is money. But there are other things that you can maximize like time flexibility, hitting home runs because you're in the game, etc that a W2 position makes it hard to accomplish. This is not putting down W2 positions as I worked a W2 position for about 60% of my life. I got a lot of experience at them.

@@ChasingAndrewJackson I mean there are a lot of variables that one can look to maximize with their job choices. When I first got out of school, I worked hard at several different companies as an employee and gained a lot of experience in many different settings. I also made good money and really started saving it when I got in my mid 30s. When presented with an opportunity to work for myself in my early 40s, I was able to jump into it because of my experience and the money I had saved up. Now in my early 50s, I continue working for myself even though I don't earn nearly as much as I can if I went back to work as an employee. However by staying independent, I still have the ability to possibly sell a deal/project that could generate a lot of money for myself immediately and through "mail box money" (aka: passive income) but there is no guarantee it will happen. I also have the ability to come an go and work mostly when I want. These 2 things are what is most important to me at this juncture in life. I realize there is a big age gap between you and me; probably a little more than 20 years and we are in different financial positions. But if you aren't out there in the game, it's hard to be there when opportunities pop up. I am in an entirely different business than trucking but business is business and all business has opportunities to exploit and make money under all circumstances.
