Hello :) Welcome to True Crime Sketchbook, a new series I'm trying out. I've always been a fan of true crime...documentaries, podcasts and books. When I draw or paint, most of the time I'm listening to some spooky murder story, and more often than not it's the podcast My Favorite Murder with Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgarif. This podcast, and many like it, has kept me company through some of my hardest times, and has been unexpectedly intertwined in my art journey. So I thought I would combine the two things I love: true crime and making art. In this video, you'll watch the drawing process of a sketchbook spread while I tell you the gripping true story of the disappearance of 19-year-old Sarah Stern. Her car was found with the keys in the ignition on a bridge in New Jersey, and she vanished without a trace. This case has chilling twists and turns that you won't be able to forget.
Since I'm considering making videos like this regularly, I'd love your feedback! Let me know if you enjoy this kind of content, and what cases you would like to see covered in upcoming videos. Thanks so much for watching!! :)
