That first story was scary. Some guy following you with no lights....... I know the feeling of being alone on a dark country road and the worry that is at the back of your mind that something bad could happen.

The story about hitting something on the mountain roads reminded me of a story about my father. We lived in a suburb of Los Angeles and dad worked downtown. Because of the traffic, he would often stay for a couple of drinks with his friends to let the traffic clear before he left. One night, he came home later than usual and very upset. I was only nine or ten at the time, so had already gone to bed, but got up when I heard him talking to mom. While driving home on the 10, a very busy freeway, he swore that he had run over a body, a human body. He couldn't pull over because of the traffic. He had some friends with the L.A. Sheriff's Department, who he called the next day. There were no reports of a body found. As far as he could ascertain, there were no dummies or anything that could be mistaken for a body. The 10 freeway runs through town after town with absolutely no wildlife that could wander onto the freeway, either. He was a WWII veteran who wouldn't mistake something else, like a rolled up carpet, for a body. I had never seen my father so upset before or since. He stopped driving to his work and started taking the bus, instead. He insisted until the day he died that it was a human body he ran over. We will never know what really happened.

Your father was clearly a m0r0n if he was convinced he ran over a human body, but waited until the next day to call the authorities

Great stories J Nightmares, I really enjoyed the ghost child in the parking lot and the last story about the friend running away from her abusive ex -boyfriend. There's a Japanese urban legend called the "Yuki Onna" (snow woman), its related to a ghost in snow environments, if you think that's something interesting, you could do a future video on it.

I think the driver in the first story was just on a night touge and sped up because he thought the op challenging him lol. It’s a popular past time in the car community especially in Japan, and people who touge on mountain passes often do it at night to avoid to go fast and avoid traffic, albeit sometimes recklessly.

I don't really know if that's a common thing outside my country, but bad people here tend to be really creative. Here, despite not even having a driver's license, it was always warned by my parents that I should never stop at night, I'm a woman but it doesn't mean we will be the only target. They put all sorts of things, woman with their car apparently broken or elderly people, and sadly, the also release animals like cats or dogs so you will stop to help. Now something that I think is internacionally accurate, never help people at airports or bus stations, they can stole your things, or lure you somewhere to kidnap you or shit, various things. It's better to just call a employee or the police, specially be very very careful at airpors, because human traffiquers are sometimes acting togheter with people inside and even airline companies.

There's a street called Reliez Valley Road in Martinez CA thats super windy and dark, it connects Lafayette CA with San Pablo CA and is super gorgeous and fun to ride especially on motorcycles. But when I was young dudes liked to shut off the lights to scare girls which was really dumb. Almost every dude I know including my lil bro have hit deer and caused massive damage to their vehicles. I almost did but stopped just short of a doe and her fawn around 2 am when I was 16 one time. hahahha....men 😅

It's crazy how women turn men's loneliness into an enterprise and how men have to pay to be Loved (or to have any attention on them) in the first place.
