I like Seth's show so much better for this kind of content. John Oliver's delivery makes me cringe a little too often and him dancing for like 2 secs in the last youtube rewind... I don't know why that brief appearance bothered me so much but I can't watch his show anymore man. It's too much for me. And I love Stephen Colbert but there's just something about his current show that makes me cringe too, sometimes. Not as often as Oliver but enough to make me prefer Seth.

Im rewatching these, and Im still convinced he thought he was being accused of saying the actual words "quid pro quo". And I can so vividly picture him watching the news covering the allegations, smirking to himself and looking forward to releasing the transcripts, because he knows he never said that, and finally everyone people will see how everyones making up lies about him. While I have to assume aids were standing next to him going: "sir, please, 'quid pro quo' is just what the crime is _called,_ the crime you committed it _in_ the transcripts." While he utterly ignores them, still smirking at the tv. Yes, good, keep talking about it CNN, you're just digging your own grave, cant wait to see how you explain people _aren't_ out to get me when I prove my innocence Like, I honestly don't think he was lying when he was saying 'the transcripts were perfect, no pro quote what so ever' I legitimately think thought he just had a mic-drop moment because it didnt say "i would like to pressure you into a quid pro quo"

Personally I think there must be some kind of awful pre-nup that's keeping Melania in this marriage. Like if SHE files for divorce, then she and Barron don't get anything. Putting aside that Trump is clearly off his rocker, the two of them don't seem to particularly like each other, or have any interest in each other at all, and she's still young, so I don't see why on earth they're still together unless there's some kind of behind-the-scenes deal that would put her at a disadvantage if she filed for divorce.

Silly question - but does the US still have those calculators in great numbers? In the UK they're mostly the scientific ones now that don't make great 'words' as the numbers are too distinct. Certainly in schools.

To quote a certain Lindsey Graham, in 1999: "You don’t have to say, ‘Let’s obstruct justice’ for it to be a crime. You judge people on their conduct, not magic phrases.” He went on to say it didn't even have to rise to the level of a crime for impeachment to be a valid move. *Now* Lindsey Graham says a president would have to spell it out, be "really, like, thuggish about it.”: ‘Uh, hey pal, you know, you need to like, go after the Bidens or I ain’t gonna give you any money.’ It's the age old question: who is more reprehensible, the Sultan who abuses his power, or Wormtongue, his counsellor, who whispers empty and unconvincing blandishments while sanitizing the Sultan's messes?
