I think what you said about African American ladies (I would add African Americans in general) is the much bigger key here. Sadly, the majority of white voters still voted for the pedophile. Maybe the Bannon endorsement did just enough with white voters, but it's still pretty disturbing.

It's only my opinion, but as a white European, I find it disheartening that only 30% of white voters chose Doug Jones. Then again, I'm just a European and am not fully aware of all the stuff that's going on in Alabama. But still... Will the African-American people of Alabama be at risk after that?
@SandraNelson063
6 жыл бұрын
African Americans are ALWAYS at risk in the US!!! A lot of police departments like to point their guns at black children to see what happens. Killing black people isn't really a crime in some areas. Heck, killing black people is almost a sport. Black children learn early to steer clear of the police. The police aren't there to protect THEM, they are there to hunt them. For black people, worrying about getting to vote is pretty small potatoes. When you have to worry about the police hunting you down for fun, voting takes a back seat.

Congratulations to the black community in Alabama for this victory (specially the women) and thank you. Maybe finally Alabama is ready to move forward. Not the overwhelming mayority but it was enough start the movement. Getting stuck on the old ways just stop you from improving yourself. To conserve it's good as long as it doesn't leave you behind, and that's what has happened to a lot of people in the red states, they have taken conservationism to the extreme, always afraid of change. I'm not saying always jump at it, change is not always good, but don't close your mind at it.

I really miss David Letterman. This show has gone to crap. Not that I'm favoring Trump, trump is a complete idiot. But there is no true authentic attitudes. John Baptiste never really talks. David Letterman and his lead singer would Chit Chat like they were best friends. And Stephen Colbert just constantly sheds the light upon himself. Him and John are never on a real down to earth kind of level. This show is just weird now. And the constant one sided attack upon the president is getting annoying already.

Ashley James Williams. So it's my fault that you misunderstood something? And without reading again just to be sure you immediately called me a demeaning name. But yet you get upset when I come back and call you something demeaning as well. Do you not see how hypocritical you are? You're like the type of person that can talk all this crap to people but then when someone tells you something, you immediately try and make it seem like it's everyone else's fault. Just by having this conversation with you, I've come to the conclusion that you have some deep issues within your own mind and definitely a backwards thinker. Self-righteous is the word that defines you.
