My Strat has too much bass in the neck position. Lowering the end of the pickup under the low E string cleaned it up nicely.

The pickups part is the best in this video, quite informative, didn't know about it at all. Thnx Mustafa for this. I use an exh hotwax for volume boost or clean boost after the Rat or big muff, it's an amazing pedal, must try.

I personally prefer the pickups as low as possible. I have a 1ply black guard on my strat, so even though they look like they're high off the guard, they're still a lot lower than the neck. Like you said though, it's personal preference.

Yeah, the intonation of his vibrato definitely needs work. The rest of the tone stack and emotiveness is spot on.

And less treble lol !! I listen to dozens of guitar youtubers, i like musty but damn, this is the only one channel i have difficulty to listen to, headphones/ tv/ studio monitors.... my ears bleed from way too much treble... i like the content/ tone guides ect... but covers ect sound too much thin and trebly !! Not fatness at all.

That has a lot to do with the fact that it's a 1 Watt amp. Very hard to get some toch middy compression that way.. Although, this video really sound very trebly indeed..

You get more practical use out of the volume knob when the full open sound is more gain and compressed. Works great with some fuzz.
