Thank you for the encouragement. I just made and wore my first wearable to church on Easter. It was a simple cream color cape-let without the fringe that I wore over a simple cobalt blue dress with pockets and sandals. The simplicity of it made it look and feel so good and it was such a satisfying feeling to wear my own work. I’m working on my next one now, a granny square summer crop top to wear to church this Sunday. Oh, and I have that book along with several others by Robert Morgan. The Strength You Need is one of my faves of his, I’ve read it three times and it ministers to me Every.Time!

I love SO much about this video!! I’m so glad you shared these makes with us! Each time you held up the next one, I was like, “Ooo that’s my favorite…. Oh THAT’S my favorite… I have to make that one, too” 😂 I was so sad when they discontinued the solids of that Sugarwheel cotton 😢 I needed to hear this. I have a back injury right now that is keeping me down- literally and figuratively. It is difficult to keep things in perspective and keep eternity in mind when I just want to be able to go make dinner for my family or play with my kids or sit on the couch with my husband… In my head, I know it’s all temporary. But my heart forgets. Thanks for the reminder. ❤

This was a fun video! Love all your wearables, and that last cardigan is gorgeous, especially the sleeves. I don’t think you need to point of the flaws, because only you know, and most people are not going to study them that hard. You do beautiful work!! I just found your channel, and now I want to watch all your videos. Your Amazon video was what popped up for me to watch, and when you were towards the end…well, you had me when you started reading scripture!! Thank you! 💖🙏💖

Your wearables are all awesome. I am definitely one of those people who wants to make a wearable but am very intimidated by the idea. My daughter wants a long cardigan so I've been searching online and have found a few that only have 2 panels and you can add sleeves if you want to. So, I'm thinking seriously of giving it a try. Fingers crossed. The verse today is really powerful. Thank you for sharing it with us🤗❤🙏

It will be ok to wash, I promise!!! I would suggest to hand wash it though. Squeeze the excess water out and roll it in a towel and continue to squeeze as much water out as possible. Then I lay my out to air dry. I usually use my box fan to speed the process up. Your wearables look great by the way. Love your content Kristen

All of your wearables are beautiful!!! Really like the 2nd hexagon granny…your color choices and placement are just gorgeous!!! Your are correct…once you make your first wearable…it becomes addictive…I try to make a few wearables for spring/summer and fall/winter seasons. When we go through hard times…fear of the unknown can consume you. Knowing that I always have GOD by my side and can trust him like no other is extremely comforting to me. My help, comfort, and peace cometh from the LORD!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤✝️

Like you when the fears come, i try to immediately say no, no fear. I look back every time & I remember all that He's brought me through & He's been faithful even when I had none or very little faith. He is the author & finisher of our faith. So good to see a young lady love the Lord Jesus. Be blessed!!!

Yes Kristen you inspired me. I found Cuppa and watched her on your Hexagon sweater a couple of weeks ago. Is that a DK wgt on your 1st hexagon sweater and may 4 wgt on the 2nd one? I'm not feeling into my Temperature blankets right now. Could be the warmer Spring weather and going towards Summer. So think a swap up of projects are in order.

They are all beautiful. I really like the tank and think it fits you really well. I don't think it looks boxy, and the arm holes looked like they fit perfectly. It matches the last cardigan perfectly. I have a cardigan I made with Premier chunky tweed. I love it, but it is beginning to pill quite a bit. I don't know what to do about that. I wash my wearables in the washer on delicate. As long as your ends are woven in well, you shouldn't have any problem. I too have fears or worries that I try not to give in to. They are not necessarily about myself but those I love. It is human nature. Prov. 3 Verses 5 to 6 [5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 🙏
