I once had a Walmart delivery driver drop the eggs on the way up my stairs, he was so apologetic and I just kept saying it was okay not to worry. He insisted that I request a refund and that he would run to the farmers market on the corner to grab me some more eggs. I was very adamant that he not do this and that it was okay, he did it anyway. That guy was a real decent human being. We tipped him $100 through the app.

Another thing to consider is that, (Given I'm not sure if he's already mathed it out and showing us the end result) most drivers have to hold their own taxes since they are independent contractors, so you end up having to set aside ~20% give or take out of that amount, and the gas while driving to and from each day has to be taken out of that too. It's still good money, just things you have to think about
@pepsilove6306

@@AkariKinryuu true, but if you keep a pretty accurate milage log, list of all repair bills for the car, cost of anything extra [bags at stores that wont provide paper/plastic bags anymore.] add in anything else you bought to assist the job. You do what you can. The important thing is not to tip zero, nor to bait and switch by putting a tip on and then taking it off after delivery. Even modest tips are appreciated, keep in mind depending upon your market if there are better batches with bigger tips, those are going to get picked by shoppers first. If your tips are very low your batches may get combined with other customers that are nearby which may make it more feasible for you to get a delivery and the shopper to still make good money.

11:20 How did you remember the address to return the forgotten item? Once you finish the delivery, the address is gone, right?

Not trying to put my exact city out there, but I’m very near there 😜 I get tip bait more in seguin. My area seems to not have too much tip bait. Civic is 2012. Civic gang 💯💪

What camera do you use to record your talks in the car? Or is it your friend's phone?

Hey Aphid, I’m new to instacart so I don’t really know how it works but basically when you accept an order and you got all of the stuff the customers want when I pay at a cashier do I always tell them I pay for credit? And can I pay at self checkout? Sorry to bother. Also do I keep the receipt or put them in the bags? Also do you pay with a physical card or digital card?

Yeah, I don’t tell them I just run it as credit. Self checkout works too usually, but some stores won’t allow it. Sometimes my receipt won’t scan if I use self checkout so I enter it manually. Always keep the receipt, the customers get a digital copy. But the printed copy is important to hold onto for at least a month just in case instacart needs another picture of it. I pay with the physical card almost always.

Hi question does instacart pay trip and tips right after the completed delivery?? Or is it similar to spark that the customer have 24 hours to modify the tip
