Personally, & I think for some people - of course, a Dyson is known for its flawless function, but the biggest part for me is that it’s less heat damage on the hair as it’s air powered. That’s probably the biggest thing for me as I have very curly damaged hair and I like to style it. So this is really what I need

@@yours1ana I think it's less damaging bc it's more accurate in terms of how much heat is used and it can't get hotter than 90 degrees as far as I've read. If you're concerned, definitely also spend more on good heat protectant before using it. Either way, it should be alright I guess

I think it only suits certain hair types with already natural waves/curls. The biggest revolution is the straightening brushes, the curling attachment barely works/last especially if you have such thick straight hair like this girl. The most I believe the curling attachment can really do is just give you a voluminous blow out look.

also the Dyson had a few yeas to market and sell the product because they patented it(the ice was originally theirs) … so until the patten ran out other companies couldn't manufacture similar product without getting sued… it's only now that the patten has ran out and we are able to se similar product with different(more affordable) prices

@@Anneliese210I've done a little bit of research and the technology is actually really interesting. The heat control is extremely sensitive and able to stay consistent. It has great results at a much lower heat than normal curling/flat irons(around 300⁰ I think). The air spins hair in a cone which smoothes flyaways without losing volume. The cooling function lets you cool curls in the same position they were heated. As someone who likes to style their hair but doesn't enjoy the damage, I'm so excited to see any improvements in technology like this.

@@shyvioletsgood, you are interested in something that's nice. For me it's still money for hot air. @@yours1anagirl i was using revlon blowdry brush + titanium straightener and my hair suffered. You're so lucky your mom bought u an airwrap! I wish i bought the airwrap earlier. I only got it last week and i can already tell the difference. As for heat damage, i do believe it's better for the hair because the dyson detects heat settings 40x/minute, unlike most hair heat tools that has constant very hot temperature. Do you use a heat protectant spray? That should help too. I am still keeping my straightener as the airwrap cant give the very straight sleek hair look.

Well for people who are saying that its ridiculous to pay such big amount for tools like this i understand its expensive and we can work well with the tools that we can afford but statements like these that these are expensive and who would pay for it and whats the use of paying so much everyone had different experience with the products for someone spending that amount dosen’t mean they are not considerate about money it is a fact that technology is evolving and the engineering that dyson provides is not provided by every other hair tool yet around us ; ie, lesst heat on hair using the cyclonic air flow method at the end of the day only one or fewer companies with such engineering in their products will lead to higher pricing till the time every other company starts to have such methods for customers and the genuine ones not the fake ones which stops working in a few months
