These are GREAT. I just received my second order. The shipping fee is worth it because it ships from South Korea. It arrived at my address a day earlier twice. The product itself is of a high quality. They harden my free edge better than some gel polish. The free lamp that I got is the exact same lamp that the small kits would have like kiara sky. I also have their nail hardener and gel top coat which are great. Application is not as complicated as this video explains, all I suggest is that you take your time and read the instructions. My nails are very long and they gave me protection for about 2 weeks before any lifting and chipping. Wash hands and shower in warm closer to cold water and wear disposable gloves when washing hair if you want longer wear. Taking them off gave no damage to my natural nail at all. Use the orange stick soaked in acetone, find an edge and push lightly till the gel comes completely off. Once removed, saturate a cotton pad and hold it on your nail bed for about 15 seconds and wipe the sticky residue off. These are worth it and I will continue to buy this product.

I totally agree with you, I use these nail wraps and I love them. I can usually apply and cure all of my nails in under 30 minutes. I do have the free lamp, but I chose to purchase a higher quality lamp from Amazon. Unless people are artistically talented, you’re never going to get these designs with Gems on your nails for $11-$17. I guess if you’re not used to applying decals, then it will be more difficult, I’ve been using decals for a really long time so application was a breeze for me.

I am in love with Ohora. I’ve been using it since May and ordering tons so far. I cure 3 times and apply Ohora pro top gel coat then cure one more time. The more you do and practice, the better result you will have. For me, it lasts about 8-9 days. Yes, my hair gets stuck after 7-8 days but it’s actually not too bad. I tried a few kinda of press-on nails and they were worst. I am happy with ohora and I won’t go to the nail salons anymore. I would recommend ohora.

Yeah $15 really is a standard fast shipping when you ship over seas. I order from the Uk and etc all the time to the US and that’s about what I pay. And they ship very timely , as if I am getting a product from right here in the us. Plus if I pay $30+ for gel manicure at the salon, then this is about the same 🤷🏾♀️. I have definitely spent way more at the nail salon.
@andreiitah23

True! Plus they offer free shipping when you spend $70+ which will get you 4-5 sets and it’ll still be cheaper than ONE gel manicure with designs at a regular salon.

I just put my first set on and I love them! I used a more powerful curing lamp from amazon that worked much better. Only took about 20 minutes to do. I will definitely be buying more.. Perhaps from a nail tech perspective these nails aren’t optimal, but from a perspective of someone who can’t paint a coat of polish to save their life, these are awesome. I think that they look fabulous with very minimal skill or effort. She says that these are expensive? I haven’t been to a nail salon in ages, but I know that even if you factor in the $15 shipping cost, these would still come out much cheaper than getting gels at the salon. Plus since we are faced with this pandemic these are very convenient.

I've used tons of nail things like these and while they are handy in a pinch or if you don't have time (I've used them on the train when I didn't have time to paint them beforehand), they are kind of a hassle to put on and I always have issues with a decent looking free edge. And at times when my nails are short, it feels like there's so much waste with leftover material and none if these type of things are that cheap. The main nice thing they offer with this type of thing is the various nail polish designs and the fact it's fine already so you don't have that wait time of drying in between. But overall the pros and cons and kinda close.

I wondered how they were on fingers. Thanks for the info. I got the toe ones about 2 months ago that had a similar style accent nail to yours but a shiny coordinating solid color. I slapped them on in less than 20 minutes and they stayed on 6 weeks before the growth bothered me. I even cut my toenails while they were on, and they still looked great! I didn't think I'd like them on my fingers because they aren't flush at the cuticle line (hence your hair getting caught) and also no cap on the free edge, as you said. But for toes, 10/10. They were a good quick solution when all the salons were closed due to Covid.

Maybe clipping some off the tip pressing down the tip a bit more cure and then file the rest might help with the lifting situation because when you file the gel tends to lift a bit and some residue will get stuck on the adhesive keeping it from properly sticking to your nail. Finish with a top coat to secure the free edge.
@nehifamily

Thank you for the honest review! I’ve been tempted by these but I know that tiny imperfections (hair getting caught and not capped ends) would drive me nuts. The beauty of gel for me is the durability and how it stays perfect from application to removal. I’m still tempted by ohora’s pretty designs but I think I’ll continue to pass on it for now.

I've been using Ohora for awhile, too, as others in the comments have mentioned: I get 10-days easily out of mine without their base coat or top coat. I recently made a third order to get the primer and top coat, lol. But, I can tell from your video, you didn't apply them properly. I'm capable of doing my own French Manicure on both hands, and I find Ohora cute, easy to use, and just making my life 10x easier. Like you, I was bombarded with the ADs, so I decided to try it. It also seems like you placed them on your nails and kinda left them. But, you're not supposed to do that. That's why your hair stuck to them. There is a hole/opening there. With any gel or sticker (even those OPI ones that Sephora used to have), you size it, and rub it fully with your fingers around the sticker/gel itself. This way it warms, stretches better and all the bubbles come out. When that happens, it's properly latched on to your nail itself. Especially around the edges and by the nail bed. I also put mine under the lamp 3-5x. And similar to other products that are like this one, you clip away most of it, and then file it. So, you're filing your nail in the perfect spot with your manicure. I've seen tips where some people clip it, CURE it and then file it. Just thought you should know :)
