The strut tower brace is awesome, I just installed mine a few weeks ago. Going to get their torque brace as well this spring

Whats holding the radiator up? You're missing the entire lower support... You wont really notice a functional oil cooler until you're really tracking it, the oil temps stay fairly low without a cooler just driving around. When its being 'hot lapped' or driven like its stolen for a few minutes solid maybe. I only put on my Mishimoto cooler (with thermostatic plate) for track days. A plus is, with the FL-400S oil filter (.25qts extra over stock), and the right oil cooler (.75qts), you gain a full quart of oil capacity.

What intercooler is that? I have to assume your charge temps dropped hard with that, but I am struggling to see the fins being that efficient. What was the delta in charge temps, and how does it hold up to other intercoolers like a basic COBB or Mishimoto?
@tbr.performance
2 жыл бұрын
It’s an atp fmic and as far as the comparison to other intercoolers, I wouldn’t know. I wasn’t monitoring charge temps on track unfortunately. I just had the car vitals on the display and the oil temp. The oil temp stayed very consistent and if the oil is cooler, that means everything else is cooler as well.

How did hook back the washer fluid tank and some kind of ac fan? Back since that bar did not include attachment for those parts I mentioned
@tbr.performance

I do not have a washer reservoir in this car. I removed pretty much everything that isn’t needed to keep the engine running and the windows/door locks operational. The car doesn’t have A/C either. The only fan is behind the radiator and it pulls air. It doesn’t push it if that makes sense so it wouldn’t be in front.

@@tbr.performance will do even better with tune plus! I’m telling you! Plus won’t hurt to have other tunes. And Adam is known to have the smoothest powerband just always in the power and boost. I’m telling you from experience from me having other tunes and I found tune plus to be the one who’s actually pushing the platform. That’s why I went with them for my new build. His knowledge about this platform is just crazy. He used To be the president of MAP performance or swim thing like that. And the turbosmart wastegates are tune plus thing I think. But if you get their blocks or heads , it’s all custom spec stuff. That you can’t get aftermarket. And everything comes from all the R&D they have put in over the years. Tune plus was also the first to be using the 2.0 blocks with 2.3 internals. This guy knows everything about the ecoboost ST:RS platforms. If your not happy with a tune plus tune and don’t think it’s better then your current one I’ll refund you the money myself! I think for $250 you can get lifetime tunes so anytime you change something and need to adjust your tuning , it won’t be an additional cost!

Yeah! Still learning how to drive the car on the limit. Once I feel like I need it I’ll add it all at once to keep the car balanced. Not to mention how expensive a full aero kit will be. The cage will definitely come first tho.

Nice. Hopefully this summer I can get some autocross going. Went back in 2019 but after the fiasco of 2020 and 2021 I couldn’t find anything open that wasn’t less than 4 hours away. Your car is coming along great, love it. Been debating on doing a 2.3 stoker with a big turbo or get the RS/Ecoboost 2.3 head and just run the twin scroll mustang stock turbo, for autocross. Looking forward for new video drops.

@@tbr.performance do you have your fog lights removed? Jw. I was in talks with a company to see if they have any brake cooling ducts being made for the ST. Was gonna get the oem Parts off an RS and try to rig something up for fictional brake cooling ducts while keeping it FoMoCo Parts....hopefully everything lines up. I guess time will tell.

@@jessebudelman I removed them and I made brake ducts at one point but the ECU sits right in front of the driver side fog light housing so the ducting won’t fit.
