my biggest ordeal in the creative process, beyond having to fight both my attention span and crippling inability to get into "work mode" consistently, is just that I have no idea how to translate the ideas I have into the format. currently, i'm trying to make an atmopheric theme for a place in my setting, and I wanted to bring a vibe of "eery, desolate, but peaceful/non threatening", with a bit of underwater inspiration. I cannot go beyond the singular musical idea, because any addon go away from the intend, and can wildly break what I've managed to hazardly conjure up. but there is so many exemples of that when I am drawing, or writing to. not giving up, but damn, arts got hands.

Feels like something past the credits. Your story has ended, waiting to be retold again to a new audience, but between then and now time just.. moves. differently. Things warp, friends become unfamiliar and strange, while strangers become closer to you. everything is wrapped in a thick layer of honey, yet everyone sees clearly. You smell toast, but nothing is cooking, and you sweat for no reason. Your vision begins to fade, return, collapse into black and white and all over again. Your tired, the ground cracks from turning so hard, the path gets out of shape, sluggish you move on, things get heavy, breath begins to become hazy, swirling the world goes, you panic and then Stop. The slow notes fade. Breathe that fresh air. The story begins again, things never as they seem, but it just... What were you worried about again?

That rubato thing, i also kind of hear the beginning of notes, especially piano notes more, like they have a different sound, could just be me with the weird brain effects, at the start of them than when held so the initial sound burst is different than the following chord kind of if that makes sense, so it's not getting that initial bad sound at all when you spread it out. Like how if you get flour, eggs, butter and sugar repeatedly thrown at you it's different from a cake being thrown at you but in this circumstance the cake tastes worse than the individual components. Shrug. But yeah, this does sound really nice.
