I found with mine I can open that gap to 1/8” using an Allen wrench and then I can pull the pan down to level and it’s right on the edge where there zero creep. 👍 I run 4-5 lbs of pan tension to though. Great vid bro

I’ve been kicking around the idea of expanda pans on mine to. I laminated mine with 1/4” round stock. I don’t see the need for four coils where I’m at.

@@jutnjenrasmussen8637 expand a pans caused a lot of misses and toenail catches . the beaver can step on the jaw and pan at the same time causing ejection of the foot and toenail catches ,went back to the kaatz brothers factory pans and resolved the issue with misses and toenails . 4 coiling them sped them up a good bit and increased the holding power especially on otter catches .

@@judithdandavis2206 Chip claims his pans actually help in catches and when the jaw closes it actually pulls the foot into the jaws. 🤷🏻♂️either way I prob won’t get them. I love my outside lams on them. 7/16” jaw thickness doesn’t let anything go
