I remember when DL first accused Regi of being an abusive boss and all this TSM shit happened, the amount of people dragging and insulting Leena and other innocent people that used to work for TSM was disgusting. It's crazy or is it strangely ironic the parallels of this drama with that of Johnny/Amber, in how they manage to be narcissistic in their abuse and manipulation of their victims. It's eye opening to see how this kind of abuse is perpetuated because they believe they can get away with it because their victim(s) are just too weak or too scared to speak up about it. And how by and large they have been proven right for so long until now. Just because most people would rather take the L and move on instead of keep poking at the wound.

What the fuck bro. But yet it was doublelifts attitude? DL was cocky, and naive, but he wasnt toxic int he traditional sense of the word. But when he went to TSM, working with that coach (wendle...windle??? i dont remember his name. the Life coach.) DL got way more chill, even on streams, he would actually start looking past simply calling someone shit on his team and say what they couldve done better. and if he died he went from blaming his shit team to saying shit like "UGH why did i do that?" Regi was in the right place at the right time playing the right game that he was JUST good enough to become prominent in and capitalize on. esports was only really becoming a thing when League was starting to get itself established as a popular game, and Riot was smart enough to invest extremely heavily into what they saw as the biggest future market in the industry, so the well-known faults in Regi's personality were quietly swept under the rug for years so that Riot could promote him and his team (and a lot of other players, obviously, but very few of them were NOTORIOUS giga a-holes like Regi).

The shit id give for a Breaking Point - TSM Editions with regi playing dardoch
@CxerRy96

Somehow it actually turned out to be EVEN WORSE than the worst speculations that were thrown out...people were already adjacent to the fact he's toxic towards the players and staff, but I never thought he would be that deranged to fire someone because he was told he was wrong, that is actually insanely childish and really makes you wonder who and why financially supports this org... Regi should definitely be distanced from the company, he is literally solo tanking it's entire value, everything about TSM sounds great on paper except that loose cannon

btw HR is there to protect the company but the way they protect the company is by being extremely helpful to employees so they can't claim wrongdoing. HR departments vary of course, but they work to help you in order to protect the company, so both are true.

Yeah but in a company where they mistreat and miss classify workers protecting the company is like blocking the sun with one finger

It depends on what level you are. If you are like entry level at Walmart hr is great. They don't give two shits about department manager. If you are one of those dms or asms they are pretty horrible.
@dylleealt

This isn't.. true. HR solely exists to protect the company and in many cases plays a role in perpetuating harm towards employees. Outside the efforts of very good intentioned individuals, HR will only "help" you when your interests align with the company's e.g. preventing lawsuits such as sexual harassment, discrimination, which may be what you had in mind, but doesn't paint the whole picture. Taking action because it's illegal is the bare minimum, but this doesn't even happen sometimes as they can choose to not take your report seriously, and HR will always take the path that protects the company the most, which usually involves an NDA, and if the harrasser is high enough at the company, often won't be fired and in some cases, the one who reported the harrassment/discrimination will literally be ousted instead. When it comes to minor greviances HR is practically useless, at best it takes actions to ensure your productivity, and in fact the company generally uses these reports to prevent unionization. A company isn't voluntarily paying a whole ass department just to help workers even if that's what their superficial purpose is described as, and this fairytale notion should be further undermined by the fact that almost everything else a company does is to exploit or extract more value from workers.

Eh, when push comes to shove they protect the company. I’ve been in large organizations for decades. Folks, HR is not your friend. They are not there to look out for you. They help the company navigate liability, sometimes with a smile. Sometimes they don’t bother with the smile.

This is a man who was never held accountable. Honestly, I understand fear but honestly it's not hard to instill it in your oppressor. Watch there habits, gather a group, stomp him out on his way home from work. Rinse and repeat until they give in. It is worth the charge, you are human, and deserve to be treated as such, and if anyone denies you that right, then show them the animal they treat you as.

You can see DL’s train of thought throughout the video heading in the direction of Labor Unions and why every industry needs them lol. I love how he mentions that every industry has toxic workplaces to some extent, and that bringing these wrongdoings to light drives out that negativity and elevates the community.

Honestly I think the lcs might do something about regi. If we look back to the echofox situation they gave them an ultimatum after one of their shareholders was found to have sent racist emails iirc.

I mean amazon is still regarded as a stand up company even after all the allegations of employes being treated as sub humans. Late stage capitalism in a nutshell.
@geneherald8169

how does that have anything to do with capitalism. Capitalism is characterized by free markets, including for the job market. If an employee is being treated poorly, capitalism encourages them to switch jobs. Why didn't they just leave TSM right after realizing the problem is beyond me. I guess they sold their souls for money?

There are still TSM players from other games as well as the possible new league roster and xmithie as coach that I truly want the best for. I hope this all gets sorted out and TSM can truly earn its real glory because like dlift said there are good people that work at TSM

@Gerry Teigland Eide winning IEM 2015 was considered as really good aswell tho - eventho they didnt have to play the Tigers in the finals they managed to beat CJ Entus (3rd best Team in Korea at that time) and the Flash Wolves (who defeated C9 and SK - EU first Seed) in their side of the bracket Their season 4 worlds was the best showing TSM has ever had at worlds and id say IEM2015 was their best showing international (I mean, there werent many good ones 😂) Id even say they werent good in NA standarts they were overall a good team But I mean it doesnt really matter, after they kicked their 2nd era of good players (Sven, Bio, DL - even if it felt like a natural move back then) they NEVER got relevant again 🥴

I just recently stopped being a fan of TSM. I like individual players but that's it. I was a fan of them since season 2/season 3 of League. I can't support a Org that does this kinda shit to at the time that we knew, to their players. JUST TO FIND OUT IT HAPPENED EVERYWHERE IN THE ORG?! Yeah nah. Whoever is still a TSM fan, you're smoking boners at this point LMAO Or just a Doublelift hater honestly.

I mean the guy asking why the producer didn't just say no to coming in at 8pm over a KZitem video isn't an idiot who's never had a job. He's just an idiot who doesn't understand sometimes ass backwards America with it's weak af employee/consumer protections. Shouldn't be laughing at him for asking the question. Should be asking yourself why on earth you're not able to say no to your employer in such a situation.

Its funny that CALIFORNIA has the weirdest laws that get the state more reason to tax people as an employee not as a contractor while they would be a contractor in other states Edit: it is good to keep in mind most contractors can more or less dodge taxes depending on your state and in cali they need to pay those senators... The fact that even one individual like Reginald makes it to a place of power and wealth should make us really question what our society is positively reinforcing. And Reginald is by no means an anomaly in the business world. So yea...
