David, I got my TYA book yesterday and have started digging into it. So far it reads easily and is very clear, only at page 27 but going back to it now. I am putting everything aside and this is my focus for the rest of the day, most of tomorrow and as much as I can on the weekend. I am still trying to understand how you refer to your colleagues murder as 'horrific' if you really view it with appreciation. It feels judgemental to me so please explain where am I misunderstanding appreciation.

You’re the second person who asked this. I used the term “horrific” and “brutal” to make the point that most anyone would describe someone being slashed to death in their bed this way, yet my experience in the aftermath was not that. If I would have said “my friend transitioned” the point would have been missed.

@@TheStreamofDavid I got that, thanks for clarifying. I just thought that using the adjective to qualify the murder instead of just saying 'he was murdered' added an element of judgement around the event.
