J. S. Bach: Cello suite no. 5 in C minor BWV 1011 - I. Prélude
(* in the video cover it is indicated Allemande instead of Prélude)
Abstract:
They talk about the different articulation of the eighth and sixteenth notes, the interesting thing would be to differentiate two voices, giving it a more polyphonic aspect. In the bow changes, the student can take a little more time, and finish each bowing. In many moments, it helps a lot to keep harmony in mind to know the right place for the bow changes. Tsutsumi comments on different possibilities of articulation and bowing that improves phrasing.
